La murga uruguaya más aclamada de Latinoamérica, trae por primera vez a la región su espectáculo “Esperando el Fin del Mundo”, en donde con su habitual poesía, humor y reflexión, analizan las diversas reacciones de la humanidad ante lo que muchos creyeron sería… El Fin del Mundo.
El fin del mundo no llegó, pero es una buena excusa para disfrutar de un espectáculo que con humor y pasión invita a la reflexión. Las cucarachas todo lo resisten y por eso esperan festejar la extinción de la humanidad. Personificados de esta manera cada canción es un replanteo de lo que somos como humanos.
La función tiene el fin de compartir con el público de cualquier país del mundo el carnaval de Uruguay, el cual es un espectáculo teatral de critica, humor y música. “Imagínense una obra de teatro diferente, el nuestro es un carnaval de escenario, es como una obra teatral cantada y actuada permanentemente”.
¿CÓMO ES LA MURGA URUGUAYA?
La murga uruguaya es interpretada por un coro de unas 13 a 17 personas, que entona canciones y realiza cuadros musicales con personajes y línea argumental. La temática principal ronda alrededor de los acontecimientos salientes del año, con crítica política y social. El coro es acompañado por una “batería de murga”, integrada por bombo, platillos y redoblante.
