El día viernes 27 de Abril a las 20:30 hs, en el hall del Teatro Circulo Italiano de Villa Regina se inaugurará la “Galería C – Galería de Arte Contemporáneo”.
El proyecto se articula mediante la adecuación de las instalaciones, para utilizar el espacio como lugar de difusión de distintas disciplinas artísticas gestionando y compartiendo contenidos con diversos centros de producción regional y nacional. La idea principal parte de generar una Galería de Exposición de Arte Contemporáneo e insertarla en el circuito nacional de centros de exposición. Estableciendo un cronograma de muestras fijas por año.
La selección de artistas y/u obras estará a cargo en conjunto de la Secretaria de Cultura de la institución, y de un artista con conocimiento del panorama de producciones visuales locales, zonales y nacionales. Este es un espacio para la socialización de productores culturales, como espacio de generación de propuestas. A través de una agenda para bajar información de concursos, becas o subsidios. La posibilidad de recibir proyectos de prácticas artísticas que puedan desarrollarse dentro del edificio del Teatro Circulo Italiano.
La Galería, se nutrirá de artistas plásticos para darle visibilidad a sus producciones actualizadas, y contempla una propuestas didáctica que es la de poder acercar contenido artístico y contacto con los artistas a la población de nuestra ciudad. El primer expositor será el artista plástico de General Roca Angel Tocce, co-autor con Esteban Vazquez en la creación de la Galeria.
Como proyecto anexo a la actividad de Exposición, se preveer la restauración de cuatro espacios existentes en la torre del Teatro, que se destinarán a la producción de artes plásticas. (fotografía, pintura, escultura, etc).
Sumando la Galería de Arte Contemporaneo, la Escuela de Artes Escénicas, el Elenco de Comedia Musical y las Producciones Audiovisuales, la sede del Teatro Círculo Italiano se va orientar hacia un nucleo de producción y disfrute de las Artes.
